Boys League Play
We participate in the Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League
Teams: Grade 3/4, Grade 5/6, Grade 7/8
***If your child is a 2nd grader and they would like to play at the 3/4 level, please contact us***
Regular Practice Schedules:
3/4: Mondays (Prairie Fields) and Wednesdays (Maple Street Park) from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
5/6: Tuesdays (Prairie Fields) and Thursdays (Maple Street Park) from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
7/8: Mondays (Prairie Fields) and Wednesdays (Maple Street Park) from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
All boys games are Jamboree format to be held on Saturdays. Jamboree locations are held at various locations around Northern Vermont
The first few weeks of the season, before jamborees begin, will feature an additional practice each week on Fridays each week at Maple Street ParkEquipment:
3rd-8th Grade Players are required to wear all the necessary lacrosse equipment. See the photo below as a reference. Mouthguards will be provided.
For first time players: "Play It Again Sports" is a great place to start with affordable equipment. "Starter packs" can also be ordered online. Click here to see an example, STARTER PACK EXAMPLE
***Important - The shoulder pads/chest protector must meet the NOCSAE standard and will have the following graphic. Any older than 2021/2022 does not meet standards***
Equipment and Registration considerations: Lacrosse, like many equipment heavy sports, can be an expensive activity for families. Access to the game is incredibly important to us, and we want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate.
